About Silver Sun of Albuquerque
Silver Sun was founded in 1976 when Deanna Olson and Cheryl Ingram hit the road in a borrowed truck with three flat showcases and the best Native American jewelry that $5,000 of retirement money could buy. After three years of traveling sales, the two retired school teachers opened the Silver Sun Gallery in 1979 in Santa Fe, New Mexico followed, in 1985, by Silver Sun Wholesale in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Since the beginning, Silver Sun has been providing authentic, handmade Native American jewelry to the public by wholesaling to fine shops and galleries, museums, and Indian stores across the globe. Over the years, they have acquired knowledge about the precious "fallen skystone" turquoise, and understand the value, beauty, and spiritual significance it holds. Silver Sun's in-house designers collaborate with several talented silversmiths to create both traditional and unique contemporary jewelry that features rare, natural turquoise.

i needed the triangle wire part, thank you!
Beautiful!
Where do youvget the market materials from
The kids screaming in the background was enough to get me to stop watching.
beautiful!!! She is so talented!
I have a beautiful Morenci cuff! One of my prized possessions!!
Bought an amazing cuff from his brother, Ira, at the Eiteljorg Indian Art Market about a month ago. Love it! Thank you for this video!
Wah...
❤️
What kind of acid are you using?
This lady has no regard for personal space. It’s obvious Gary was uncomfortable.
Thank You so much both Deanna and Nila for a bit of schooling regards to the quality of the Morenci Turquoise. Loved seeing all three videos as it has made me understand the quality of fine turquoise and in my search I will first look for the best, rest assured Morenci is what I want.
:]
Can you show more closeups in upcoming videos? In the beginning, I feel like I’m a fly on the wall but not in the good wayy. The edited closeups are nice though. Thanks for posting either way!!! Looking forward to seeing more turquoise and more silversmithing
This lady knows what she's doing! 😍 Wonderful demo. Thank you.
Deanna Olson 1:30-1:36. 😂😂😂
Quartz in turquoise is a rare occurrence. That makes Morenci turquoise even more rarer.
Morenci turquoise, especially high grade Morenci, is exceedingly difficult to find nowadays. You’d be lucky to find a natural piece of high grade, beautiful blue Morenci today.
New friend here
I do wish that this camera man would very slowly scan over the stones so we can see closeups on the cabs
Love the gloss of Morenci. Real gemmy! I'm satisfied with my Kingman and Royston cuffs with stamped silverwork 😊 I have some electric blue stones in birds eye, some spiderweb and some brown matrix that look like the Earth 🌎. my goal is to get a bit from every mine I enjoy but each piece finds me when I need it.
This Deanna Olson would have made to good wife for Jene Wadell. She is just as crazy about Turquoise as he is.
Awesome videos. Thank you for sharing.
Indians are from India she's indigenous to North America.
Wildly overpriced on the site ... and frankly seems a bit exploitive... but hey if people will pay for it whatevs
Simple?! Seriously?!
Hi can u please share the contact number. Thanks
Love artist Shane Hendren!
wtf is wrong with the reporter....anything she says start with oh my good...oh my goodness !!!... does she ever saw people in her life doing some work ?
Does mike have a website where he has natural turquoise beads for sale? I am making a three string necklace for myself out of sleeping beauty turquoise and i don't know if i have enough. Thanks for the great video. If he has a email i would like to contact him. I only need a little bit of 6mm beads. Love the pics!
Thanks for the video Etta. I love the beautiful pilot mine ring i just bought that you made. Its thr biggest and most beautiful ring i ever bought! Bought from pueblo direct! Thanks for your handiwork!
Be nice if the actual turquoise was shown. Nice place!
lots of the turquoise was actually shown, at the end, very nice pieces!
Thanks for the video and information. I just bought a lg morenci pendant. It was the only one i have ever seen for sale. Made by Kevin Willie. I love the blue color and the slight matrix of black and silver and pretty blue in background! It said it was part of a private collection which is highly collectable. I would like to get earrings but they are so expensive.
Thankyou for this amazing video, you do beautiful work and i learned alot!
Amazing! Simply amazing.

Granma
Is there a video on how to make the ring? I didn't see that part. Thank you. Great video
In the video, there is a ring at about 8 minutes and 56 seconds. Is there a video on how to make that. Thank you.
is anyone planning to make this?
Wow! Thank you for sharing!
Turquoise bracelet with seed pearls
I wish that lady would shut her pie hole. “Did you just solder that?? Oh my!!!” “Did you bend that silver?? Unbelievable!!” Stupid commentary.
Probably the best video I have watched on casting!
These are Great videos!
Thats a hard-working native woman
All of my woodworks I am making with woodprix. Google and try it.
What gauges of silver are you using?
